HSB is a wonderful art deco venue built in 1924 and located in the entertainemnt district of downtown Oakland, Ca mid way between the Paramount Theater and the newly renovated Fox Theater. Lots of history there--Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Tommy Dorsey and all played there. Holds 1200 people. We do concerts but also rituals, weddings, non profit fund raisers, seminars and more. We own a 30 year lease on the space and with the landlord have put $2 million into renovation and $1 million more will complete renovation and provide operational capital. Business is booming since the Fox reopened 3 months ago around the corner with a $75 million renovation. We have averaged $700K business for 3 years but can do much better. We have a solid and vetted 3 year business plan in hand as well. Check the place out on our website. We want HSB to be community based and serving the community in various ways including supporting non profits. (One middle school for example recently had a fund raiser there and made $80,000 in one night of auction and dancing.) We have an excellent relationship with city officials and the police department.
