Description: Vortex Immersion Media, Inc. is a visionary creative design and project development firm harnessing the revolutionary power of next-generation immersive and interactive technologies to deliver themed and branded story-telling experiences and that enlighten, amaze and engage. Currently at $2M in annual sales, the company is seeking investors to substantially ramp up growth to $10M+. Vortex is the first commercial immersive media studio in LA, producing immersive and interactive experiences for Fortune 500 brands including Condé Nast, EMC2, Microsoft, Nestle, NFL, Nike, Nokia and Sprint. Other recent projects include narrative 4D theaters for NBC-Universal and Cartoon Network, and a live performance stage for PepsiCo. We bring awe-inspiring experiences to audiences. Experiences that make brands memorable. Experiences that audiences will pay (URL removed)red experiences that audiences cannot get at home… VIM is developing cutting-edge digital entertainment experiences featuring; Next-Gen Immersive Cineplexes, Tourist Destination Aaractions, Live Game Tournaments, Interactive Nightclubs, Electronic Dance Music Venues, and Digital Spas for Wellness and Hospitality. VIM also develops and co-produces live immersive performances. Projects range from ballet to Bollywood dance production to progressive live musical performance combined with stunning 360 degree visuals. As LA’s only Immersive Media Studio, we have our finger on the pulse of this exciting, next-gen entertainment format. Immersive 360 Cinema is now available in the home with the Oculus Rift (purchased by Facebook for $2b), Sony Mobius and Samsung GEAR VR headsets. This allows home distribution of 360 content – essentially the “Home TV” version of our large-screen out-of-home 360 Cinema formats. VIM has developed proprietary technologies including Vortex DomeServer, VJ Server, Vortex Dome theater designs, advanced projection system deigns, proprietary show production workflows and more. The key to VIM’s near-term growth is productizing dome venues into standard turn-key theater designs for sales/rentals to events clients and producers who seek to replicate Vortex’s success. Standardized systems streamline the sales, marketing, fabrication and delivery chain thereby increasing margins while reducing sales-related costs. VIM has a plan for substantially increasing revenues and margins within 3 years of a Series A $1.75M Angel round by scaling existing operations, productizing our offerings, and bringing next-generation products to market. VIM’s goal is to own and operate branded venues to create solid, recurring revenue streams beyond our current B2B product/service business. This will be our goal in Round B capital raise. First we intend to get really, really good at standardizing our dome venues and creating original programming using client funding while we develop this new business model.
