Basically, we hang 42" flat screen digital billboards that play 10 second interval static ads on them. These billboards are placed inside of businesses that have both a high volume of customers and a considerable wait time for there service i.e.(nail salons, hair salons, tanning salons, gyms, bars, car washes, etc). As of now, we have 21 billboards between the Houma/Thibodaux area in Louisiana. We are really trying to get to 40 screens between these two area's.
Here are a few numbers for you to think about regarding these billboards. We charge $150 a month for a 1 year contract, and $199 a month for 6 month contract. I plan on having no more than approximately 75-80 ads on these billboards. With the maximum number of ads, on 40 billboards, in an 8 hour work day, your ad will pop up 1,536 times throughout all the billboards. Most of the businesses that we have our billboards in are actually open for longer than 8 hours. Also, with the maximum number of ads, every ad will be shown in 12.5 minutes. The customers in these businesses stay for an average of 30-45 minutes minimum. Now I have gotten the question: Well what if my advertisement pops up and a customer misses it. My response to that is: The customers of these businesses are not just one time customers. For example, a woman who gets her nails done does not go once a year. She more likely goes 2-3 times a month. So if she misses the ad one time, she is bound to see it within the 30+ times she goes within the year. Now lets take that same woman and say she goes to the gym where we have our billboards. That is another 3-5 days out of the week that she will see your advertisement. I'm sure you already know this but, advertisement is all about repetition. The more places she sees my billboards, the more she will notice them just out of curiosity alone.
I would also like to let you know that since we do not have all 40 billboards up yet we are giving 3 extra months for free with a year contract. So the price would actually be $120.00 a month for a total of 15 months. I know for a fact you will not find any other advertising as effective and wide-spread as mine for the prices I'm charging.
