Description:
Permanent field school in the Cayo district of Belize, C.A., for several colleges students. Their food and lodging, their training sessions and lab work. There will be, to begin with 15 cabins (30 students), expandable by 30 more students if needed, A central dining/classroom building with full kitchen for meals, a lab furnished with computers and all neccessitites to identify and catalog the artifacts, a swimming pool, an area for method practice, and transportation to the varying sites. For the off-season, we will open the institute for "volunteers" of archaeology, retreats from all areas, and tourists to the area.
