I started out making candles in the snow in nov. 08 shortly after I got layed off from the foundry in june of08 since then I have gotten into scented candles,after I overran my garage I rented a store downtown, after beeing there for 6 months I had to leave the store,with all the rain and road construction all summer not to many people shopped downtown so it was tough paying the rent and trying to reinvest any unemployment money back into the candle shop for more wax and supplies but people were buying when they did come in were loving all the scents I had (86 scents) and the candles I made in the snow with all the "oh my god it smells good in here" and "we'll be back" and "oh wow,honny smell this one" "oh thats cool,how did you make that". they loved having a candle shop in downtown cadillac and all have sead this is what we need (URL removed) I started to look to the web and am working on my web site cadillaccandlesandmore as well as trying to contact other means of sales like wal-mart,target,(URL removed)er seeing true customers and there reactions to my store I KNOW it will be succesfull in given time.I have had people come in and tell me "I have,nt had a job in a year and a half but im going to find some pop battles to turn in and get some of your candles" and they came back a few more times after that.I need a little invester help to get this rolling and who knows,going from beeing unemployed to creating my own job maybe hire a few people in these times. I should be on the news.
