The South Mountain Athletic Club is a startup idea; sport and fitness complex in the Southwest Phoenix, AZ area. It will be licensed by one of the major gym licensees (Powerhouse, WorldGym, Gold's Gym, etc.). The sports club will be a full-service multi-sport complex, and will provide both members and casual users an opportunity to participate in a variety of sports, fitness classes, exercises, bodybuilding, and leisure activities.
Niche: The club will receive visitors from all over the nation due to the hosting of national Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) sports, Basketball Congress International (BCI) basketball tournaments, and International Basketball League (IBL) games.
The mission of the South Mountain Athletic Club is to provide the best programs, staff, and equipment, to fully meet the various sports and fitness needs of our members. Besides providing an excellent value to our customers, the South Mountain Athletic Club is determined to create an unmatched sporting and fitness atmosphere that will add to the enjoyment of every member and employee of the facility.
