Nashville West Productions is a recording studio and sound lab located in Bakersfield, CA. Our hope is to pick up where GMA & CMA Hall of Famer, Gary Paxton, left off. With Buck Owens' Studio being closed down, we fell there is a great need to try in some way to keep "The Bakersfield Sound" alive. The Nashville West logo reflects this by saying "Keeping The Legacy Alive". After we are able to build our own building, we hope we can get Gary Paxton to endorse it. He owned Nashville West Studios back in the late 50's and early 60's. He was a big contributer in developing "The Bakersfield Sound".
