I am a very experienced inventor/prototype. I not only invent products but I also prototype them to make sure that they do exactly as they are intended.
In 2002 I was building custom homes and came up with my first patent ever. it is a 10 foot piece of formed sheet metal that has tab punched into it that automatically space trusses at 16 or 24 inch centers saving time and money as they are stackable and reusable! I tried to build a business using my 3 Patents in the construction tools arena at that time. I went thru the whole process of incorporating, raising private equity and manufacturing 2 of the tools. I invested my entire life into that business and failed.
15 years later much smarter and having gone thru the process I now know I need to concentrate on 1 product at a time and see it thru so I can build a solid foundation.
The invention that I just recently did a Provisional Patent on is the only one handed patent pending string trimmer that eliminates back pain and muscle strain while trimming your lawn or yard! I have the working prototype and recently got feedback from a room full of average men and women. over half said they would buy this product if it was available at the same price as the 2 handed version. I would like to build a team around this idea and eventually license to a large lawn and garden company.
This is one of the many inventions that I have done a general patent search on and believe there is a strong market for. Because I have so much life experience: single father of 3, started and ran 4 small businesses, live in a rural setting where if you need something you borrow it or build it yourself, married 21 years, contractor, welder/fitter, all types of construction including ICF, industrial and custom homes but always looking for a better faster way of doing things.
I have constructed many different prototypes in many different genera's from home health products all the way to portable horse corrals panels that can be assembled in minutes rather than hauling the whole panel (6'x 12')
At this time I am not a company but an individual looking for a team and funding so that we can make a good strong return on investment!
