Description:
I work in feature films. Just like there are thousands of amusement parks but one Disney, there are thousands of screenwriters but specific people have a combination of strong imagination, commercial intuition and writing ability to grab just about everyone's attention and create mountains of instant success. The team of such a venture, has a great time making magic, money and great memories.
That doorway is open, right now. My first screenplay was picked up by Creative Entertainment & Media Inc., an award winning production company in Marina Del Rey CA, two weeks after completion. The Creative Director, Susan Flanagan is a Grammy award winning writer. She loves the script so much that she's on the project, rather than assigning it to a producer. The development team read it aloud and reported back that it was written well enough to leave as is, other than a lack of energy in one paragraph, at the end. I had the screenplay packaged and it's being shopped with Canadian investors. I'm in my element.
The second screenplay, "The Other Side of the Sun," is even bigger and more powerful. I haven't locked it to CEM yet but Susan loved it even before it was finished. That was intentional. I'm creating a series of stories for the express purpose of captivating the world. Why me? Because I'm the guy. That child who couldn't pay attention because he was soaring through his imagination. Filling 120 pages is easy for me. As I write, I'm immersed in my element, home in my imagination.
So there's an award winning production company, with international distribution, raring to go. I can create a screenplay in under three months and they're exceptional. One's being shopped but that's not really what I'm looking for. The most profitable way for things to go is for an investor to be part of a core team; writer, investor, production company. After the release of the first film, the investor won't need to carry the full burden anymore. I'll be joining in. For me, it's all about big, money making stories.
Enough talk. The only way to know whether what I've presented here is true or just noise is to read one of the screenplays then weigh what you feel against opinions of other people whose judgment you trust. If you're interested in becoming my investor/partner in film production, on projects with budgets ranging from 8M to 20M, get in touch and read one of the screenplays. The rest will be obvious, right?
Thank you for your time.
