SmartTek Custom Powder Coating has been in business for over two years and we continue to gain recognition as a reliable, competitive coater within our industry. Within the first fourteen months of business we have stabilized our startup expenses, illiminated losses and have begun to see positive growth in job volume and sales revenue. We chose a batch type operation. This choice was important to reduce startup costs and focus our attention on a part of the market that was considered a nuisence to the larger production shops. This type of operation allows us the greatest flexibility in customer base so we can gain recognition quickly and provide powder coating capabilities to the retail public, small job shops and small to large manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Most coaters in our area are established as large quantity automated system coaters offering low price per part pricing but they are be restricted by volume minimums, batch quantity minimums, parts size limitations and production limitations such as available colors. We believe we are positioned to develop a wide customer base. We have started working toward new technologies that will allow us to diversify into additional niche markets for additional revenue streams. These new technologies and processes will provide us with nich markets that our competators are aware of but remain disinterested in. While our competitors remain focused on their large production accounts and heavy capital investment obligations we will remain agile and consistently seek new opportunities to diversify our revenue streams for the greatest growth potential.
