Description: Hello, my name is Mark Clouse, founder of 401kPrep, Inc. We’re a new company with a new solution to a very big problem called poor investment decisions. We are seeking $5 million in staged seed capital to build, sell and service our new investor education program called 401kPrep. It’ll be an online deliverable with revenues from sales and residuals. 401kPrep will provide enough buyer benefits to pay for itself. During my 30 years in the 401k business, I was asked by many clients if I could find a Quick Start Guide or Owner’s Manual for their 401k plans because their materials were too confusing. Their employees were lost. I could never find such a guide so I wrote it myself. It will be packaged as an education kit called 401kPrep. The kit, or kits, will contain five items: 1. A Quick Start Guide, 2. A Learn as You Go Guide, 3. An interactive tutorial, 4. A movie and 5. A new educational video game. Each piece of the kit will be based on a utility process I invented and call The Investor’s Decision Tree. It works like a trail map at any ski hill. Investors can take a quick look, select their paths then be on their way in confidence. The Tree helps people make better investment decisions and it helps reduce fiduciary liabilities. We have a patent pending and a copyright. We’ll sell first to large employers with 401k plans because they have the most pain. We will also get publicity which will help protect the idea and our investor’s money. Clients will see 401kPrep as an attractive enhancement and not as a replacement because we fill a void in competitor products. Additional growth opportunities will come from selling to competitors(in talks with a large one now), selling to the rest of the US 401k market, similar international markets, the gaming market, the book market and the academic market.
