New Millennium Wind Energy, LLC is a recently formed in June 2009. The goal is to produce a first of its kind Wind Turbine Company focused on the development and production of vertical axis wind turbines that will provide distributed electrical energy generation at the “Point of Use”. The vertical axis turbines fill an unmet need in the market for point of use distributed generation of electrical power. Further the products are protected by filed patents and we have determined that the company will participate in major markets including: Turbine manufacturing and production of 60Kw, 120Kw, 200Kw, 500Kw and 700Kw generation systems that are 3-phase, 60 Hz. Main markets are on office towers, large box retail, hotels, casinos, and small scale wind farm installations where our low profile and ability to generate power without the problems of the horizontal wind turbines will provide us a distinct technological and economic advantage.
Prototype: A working scaled down prototype has been developed to test the aerodynamic characteristics and loading conditions.
Purchase Orders In Place: PO’s are in place from key customers such as Wal-Mart, Target and Home Depot to mention just a few. They are contingent on the successful completion and testing of the full scale prototypes.
