I started to envision my text tile designs when I was a small child. My aunt was Native American and was a well known weaver in our community. Our ancestral heritage taught me that color is the heart and soul of a person. My visions of textiles embrace this philosophy that has been passed on from generation to generation. I want to create a line of textiles that embraces not just my cultural heritage but those from other cultures heritages as well. I want the colors and designs to speak for themselves.
