My sister and I are opening a BBQ restaurant in North Kansas City MO. There is not a BBQ for miles at the location that we are going to lease. We have been told by the locals and area shops that people have been wanting a BBQ in their area. At the moment they have to drive approximately 5 miles to eat BBQ. I have been in the restaurant business for over 15 years and know every aspect of the operations of the business. I have also performed every position you can think of in a restaurant setting. Our pit master is my husband. He has won numerous trophies,grand championships and 3rd at the world championship in Tennessee. He has also ran his own chuck-wagon mobile vendor for his BBQ in the past and was very successful. My partner is my sister. She will be doing the books and all paperwork. I will be in charge of operations.
