Description: The demand for specialty and quality wine has continually heightened across the United States, with consumption reaching its highest point ever in 2008. A new venue in Glastonbury, Connecticut, Off the Vine, Inc., will be a polished casual wine bar, the first of its kind in the area and serving as a welcome alternative to the area’s restaurants and bars. OTV, Inc. (d.b.a. Off the Vine and also referred to as “the Company”) will satisfy the desire of area residents for unique wine, allowing multiple tastes by the glass, half glass, and by the ounce, using the innovative Enomatic dispensing system. The Enomatic cuvenee system preserves an open bottle of wine for weeks and allows small tastings of rare and expensive wines that normally would not be opened for a glass. The wine selection at Off the Vine will include a variety of local labels as well as popular brands and hard-to-find bottles from around the U.S. and internationally. Off the Vine will also offer regular wine tasting events, which will pair wines with its meals, featuring fresh, local ingredients from artisanal bread and cheese makers, as well as sandwich, small plate, entrée, and appetizer options.
