Description: I'm looking to raise money to start a Midwest based Micro Lending Firm; with a special focus on youth and minority entrepreneurs. In The Midwest first and then branching out from there. I'm raising 1 million dollars to cover the Initial Operating Costs and to be the Basis of Funds able through the company. I have detailed market research and projections available to those interested. I intend to start the beginning processes in June 2016, with hopefully at least 50% of the goal met. I am working out a stock/profit share for top donors. I would like to raise the money as quickly as possible, but understand that given the amount and nature, patience is certainly my best option. I don't want to shine too much of a light on how much it would mean to me personally to be able to raise the funds. Instead I want to focus on how important this is for the culture, for the community. I myself as well as many of my friends and associates that have chose to start businesses; it can be very difficult to get the support and start up funding that you need to make a great dream or idea a reality. Whether it be because of have little to no credit or bad credit for whatever reason. A good idea is a good idea none the less, everyone deserves a chance and not everyone's success should be based on credit. I see time and time again young people or middle class working people with fantastic dreams and ideas, just not the resources to turn the brilliant plan into a lucrative project. I want to change that, it would be great for my local and regional ( as well as national) economy. It will provide opportunity for lots of bright minds and creative souls. Providing a lending solution that is fair and reasonable for everyone, no more ridiculous rates! I would be eternally grateful to all of you that chose to aid in my cause.
