Description: We are a young medical device company, focused on developing and marketing high added valued and market oriented single use minimally invasive devices. We just obtained our 510k (K# 082954) for our first radio frequency soft tissue ablation device. The patented device is mainly useful for prostate ablation (localized prostate cancer treatment), as is the first in the world allowing a confined and perfectly controlled tissue destruction (is the only one allowing the surgeon to predict exactly what will be destroyed before doing any tissue damage). The device has other interesting and worth valued applications, like kidney and liver cancer treatment (we had some information from radiologist in NY that it could be also better than competition for treating breast cancer, but we still had no time to check that!). At the same time, our development model is based on a huge opinion leaders’ network, in US and in Europe. For example, you can check the competitive advantages of our device by contacting Prof. Louis Kavoussi, head of the Urology department in the Long Island Jewish (LIJ), NY. (you can call on his cell phone: (Phone # removed)or e-mail him: (URL removed)). Prof. Kavoussi is the former vice-chairman of John’s Hopkins Urology department and is known all over the world. We also have in our network other opinion leaders at the NIH (National Institutes of Health), as well as in other huge medical institutions in different states. What makes our company different from most young medical devices companies is that we have some other market oriented single use devices in our pipeline, we intend to develop quickly (we work only with 510k able devices), and launch after 24 months (the commercial costs will be covered by the benefits we will obtain with our first device, i.e. after we reach the break-even point). This is one of the reasons we intend to install our own strategic manufacturing plant in US (small plant, oriented to the strategic parts only), in order to keep control on our manufacturing scales as well as on the costs. You will find in our business plan a complete and detailed description of the operation. We do believe that US is the best place to have our headquarters in, in order to have a good environment for a fast growing worth company. At the same time, we are much more focused on market, instead of spending millions and years in endless R&D. The goal of our device(s) is to be better and cheaper than competition, providing an easy to use smart and effective solution for minimally invasive treatments, using known and market validated technologies (like radio frequency). This market oriented vision is also confirmed by the highly skilled top Management we have in the Company, including in the Sales & Marketing fields (please, see our business plan for more details). On this ground, we would like to find financial partners (investors) sharing the same vision we have (as stated above). At the same time, we already presented our first product at the 2008’ AUA (American Urological Association) meeting last May, in Orlando, and we have several opinion leaders / hospitals waiting for us, in order to start to work with our device. This is why we have to move as quick as possible with our fundraising (we are not willing to lose our momentum!). Please, do not hesitate in contacting us for further information. Thank you!
