Description:
Hello great beings of the universe! We are two teenage girls from Baltimore city who like to go by the names Maia and Kathy. About three months ago we came up with the idea to make an independent film about teenage substance abuse. After a few talks about the idea we eventually came up with the title "HOOKED". Then we came up with a main character and a plot. Hope is a 16 year old girl who lives in the suburban part of Baltimore. She's a straight A student and always does the right thing. Her only flaw is that sometimes she can be easily influenced. A tragic event in Hopes life causes her to make one bad choice which leads her to experiment with different drugs not expecting to become addicted to them. She finds herself in a dangerous, abusive yet addicting relationship. We are making this movie to show teens that their life can take a tragic turn based off of one decision.
As you know to make any movie you need props and equipment. This is where Kathy and I need your help. We need to raise money to buy reasonable equipment and props for the movie.
Equipment we need include:
Camera
Lighting Equipment
Shotgun Microphone
Other Props
We want this movie to be really good so it can get the message across. Please help fund our movie by donating a few dollars. Every penny counts. Getting this movie out would really mean a lot to us and be a dream come true. Please help two aspiring filmmakers dreams come true. Thank you! :)
