Description:
qba (pronounced "Cuba") is the world's first premium Cuban QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) designed to deliver "q"uick "b"ut "a"uthentic Cuban cuisine to its guests in 6 minutes or less. qba, a Cuban kitchen will capitalize on an untapped opportunity in the food service industry that offers the potential for unprecedented growth and ROI from the fastest growing segment within the fast casual segment: Hispanic QSRs. Think "Chipotle" only a Cuban version, not Mexican.
OUR MISSION: To provide guests an authentic high-quality lunch and dinner alternative to existing fast casual options, which is served fast and fresh in an ambience that is inviting, clean, and fun with music and decor reminiscent of Cuba but in a contemporary style
Mobile Launch:
In February of 2010, qba launched its first working prototype via a gourmet lunch truck. By late spring, the word had spread. qba added service to Jersey City, and NYC. By summer, the FEDEX truck turned gourmet Cuban kitchen had become a staple for many throughout New York and New Jersey, winning over hearts and stomachs at every stop.
Positive responses continued and qba was voted “Best of Season 2010” by NJ Star Ledger’s Munch Mobile. Excellent reviews followed in various food blogs, magazines, and other media throughout New York and New Jersey!
In 2011 qba attempted to also open a brick-n-mortar location but unexpected circumstances caused both operations to close prematurely.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:
qba a Cuban kitchen will relaunch in an excellent location in the ever-growing Bay Area, CA; however, we need $30,000 of working capital for pre-launch training, stocking, and to help us cover any unexpected expenses in the first 3 months of operations.
