The business that my significant other and I are creating is a combination of arts, crafts and manufacturing. In our front yard we have a pond with fish and an operating miniature gristmill. In the backyard we are planning a larger pond and a g-scale garden railroad with a variety of miniature buildings, trestles and bridges. I have already created several miniature buildings for use in the craft area. Want to start small manufacturing of these miniatures
for model railroads and yardponds. Am currently retired on social security and own the duplex that we live in. We also live next to the Benton County fairgrounds and are exploring the possibility of establishing two three day festivals next year featuring fleamarkets, yardsales and auctions. We would rent the fairgrounds and rent space to a wide variety of vendors. Also looking at a year round farmer's market. All of these would work well with our miniature business. We don't have any room on our current mortgage, especially in today's market. That is why I am exploring other financial sources. I have enough space and tools to make this work, but could use $10,000.00 or so to get things underway.
