I started a high-end French retail Bakery and wedding cake business in 1998. Last year I expanded and moved to add seating, and to offer afternoon tea and lunch. I also sell tea and tea related gift items. My business is now located a block from my old location and it is in a quaint old cottage style house.
Costs to build a new commercial kitchen and remodel were much higher than anticipated, and I am currently carrying high credit card balances. I need a loan to pay off the cards and overall lower my monthly payment.
The Tea House has been open since Nov 2006 and I moved the bakery over to the Tea House location in May of 2007. Sales continue to rise as more customers find my new location. We have also received good reviews in the Chronicle and Diablo Magazine.
