This account has been created to help fund a family entertainment center and grant and scholarship program on the island of St. Thomas, USVI. The islands are currently in recovery mode as there has been much destruction caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. It is time to rebuild and create a bigger and better island community. A family entertainment center can create a huge boost in the economic development of the islands through the creation of numerous jobs, and the utilization of local accountants, lawyers and suppliers.
Another way we plan on boosting the economy is through a local grant and scholarship program - funded through our entertainment center. A percentage of our profits will be allocated to these funds.
The grant program will have two parts:
Aspiring business owners- finding funding for a start up business is a challenging task; while we will not be able to foot the entire bill. we will be able to offset some of the expenses associated with starting a business.
Local private schools- we will award one private school per year with a grant to help with the modernization of the school.
The scholarship program will be used to help fund one of our local high school seniors to help pay for their college education.
This project is something that I am very passionate about. It is something that would not only benefit me, but the entire Virgin Island community as well.
