Description:
The E-Station is a platform for individuals and community minded organizations to come together and share critical and uncommon information/ skills on an on-going and up to date basis. Information is shared through a variety of ways such as educational art exhibits/galleries, workshops, guest speakers, various styles of guided nature excursions, movies, theatre and the list goes on. The only catch is that everything is “E” oriented. In one way or another everything the E-Station stets the platform for has to do with; the earth, our environment, energy, ecosystems, ecology, exploration, etc.
An E Station is an environmental education center where we believe that by properly taking care of one’s self comes hand in hand with taking care of our home– Planet Earth. We believe that it is our duty as stewards of this planet to acknowledge the environmental impact each one of us is responsible for and work together to reduce our collective impact thus allowing future generations to live in a world as beautiful as the one we’ve been so lucky to inhabit.
that help us take care ourselves; yoga, meditation, reiki, kung fu, chi kung, massage, acupuncture, healthy and environmentally responsible eating habits to name a few…..
At the E-Station we believe in the importance of caring for one’s spirit. This requires quieting the mind and allowing one’s self to be expressed. There are lots of ways to express one’s self and at the E-Station we believe in environmental education through art. Any craft or activity that allows creativity to flow freely and beauty to be expressed is welcome and encouraged at the E Station. We also believe in actively participating in the colossal job of taking care of Mother Earth, but big jobs are more easily done with the help of many hands. At the E– Station we believe in getting to know the Earth in hope of learning how to care for it so that our children’s children may enjoy the same beautiful world we do.
