Hello my name is Lindsey, I’m a entrepreneur in Eastern Oregon. I grew up taking many hunting trips and hikes into the beautiful blue mountains that border the community of North Powder. I plan to open an outdoor sporting goods, food, and cannabis dispensary all ran separately in a historical building that is over 8,000 sqft . Our store is located along the Oregon Trail that is through the middle of our small town. Not only would our store boost foot traffic and town revenue, but would also become a large social subject for visitors and locals. Our town is made up of a total of 4 other businesses(a liquor/corner store, a hotel, a cafe, and a gas station). We have an average of 4,500,000 vehicles pass our little town on the 1-84 freeway. I have every part of my business planned. I have a beautiful two story historical building that I’m looking into purchasing as our storefront. This building is full of character, but will also need the interior remodeled before opening the minimart. I am only lacking the initial money to start up the business due to having little business credit history. My business will need $250,000 for start up costs. This will include buying the historical building, remodeling the interior, license/fees, necessary equipment, and inventory.
