Description:
Candleridge Entertainment is working to become a leading independent production company, producing high quality, powerful and financially successful films. We desire to entertain audiences by putting something up on the screen that makes people think and provides them with an understanding of how they can make their lives better, fuller and richer.
Our immediate goal is to make independent features of various genres with budgets ranging from $2,000,000 to $20,000,000. It is our intent for our films to have theatrical distribution in worldwide markets. Candleridge focuses on the artistic integrity of a product while taking into account the importance of viewership and commercial viability.
In March of 2008, Candleridge Entertainment started production on their first feature film as a team with young and up coming writer director Lee Toland Krieger. The Vicious Kind stars Adam Scott (Stepbrothers, Aviator), Brittany Snow (Prom Night, Hairspray, American Dreams), Alex Frost (Elephant, Drillbit Taylor) and JK Simmons (Juno, Spiderman 1,2,3, The Closer). The Vicious Kind is an official selection of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
