My husband has been doing carpentry and woodworking for the past 15+ years. He has an excellent reputation with every company he has worked for and is known for his commitment and strong work ethic. We would like to buy a property with a house to live in and room to build and start a small custom woodworking shop on site.
We have recently found several properties that would be ideal for this but need a large amount of funding (about $350k) to buy the property and about six months of delayed payments to get started. Essentially, to get the shop built and start getting jobs. We have the savings needed to build the shop and already have the equipment needed to start working jobs once we have a shop. What is the best way to present our plan and get the funding needed?
