Description: My company, Sayre Carpet Care, LLC, is looking for $50k in small business/real estate funding in order to grow our Carpet Cleaning startup. My husband and I relocated in September 2009 to the Grand Rapids area. The company I worked for went belly up and I filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We gathered assets, relocated and started our own carpet cleaning company. We leased a 2008 van and a truck mount cleaning system for $53,000. Additionally, we funded our liability, vehicle and worker's compensation insurance, a 6 month supply of chemicals, uniforms, business cards, a website and some promotional material. We have established a commercial customer base with more than a dozen apartment complexes and manufactured home communities. We have enough income coming in to pay our bills and show profit. However, we want to grow beyond our current production. Our target is residential jobs as that nets a higher profit. We are looking for funds to purchase a "home" for our carpet cleaning business. We have identified a worth while property in a very desirable neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The property is a HUD property. Information on the property can be viewed at (URL removed). The ppn number is 41-13-15-452-044. Basically this would be our home and office. Homes typically sell in the area for $100k +. This home has been 50% remodeled. The previous owner ran out of cash and had the property foreclosed upon. More important to us - there is a new (2005) garage on .25 acres of prime real estate. This property is being offered for $22k. I anticipate it selling for $40k. Therefore, we are looking for funding to purchase the home (garage and property) and outfit the garage for our shop. Our credit scores are 600+ and 500+. I am not naive enough to believe in this market that traditional financing is an option as we have not drawn paychecks to show "income". I would be willing to pay up to 10% interest for this opportunity and collateral could be offered in the real estate purchased. I would also be very secure in signing a note with a balloon payoff in 36 months and/or a "loan origination fee" up front. As spring has arrived - our business has doubled. As we are early in the season, I can only expect and predict it to contiue to grow.
