Description:
Rec-League Records is a boutique label operated by a roster of artists that we believe to be the most talented of any in contemporary independent hip-hop. The Rec-League core of artists is unique in that they maintain an aesthetic/image that is consistent throughout the roster while producing a catalog of releases with a potential appeal that is wider than any of the labels we intend to pattern ourselves after.
Rec-League has already shown international appeal as well as professional ingenuity by collaborating with Rimeout Records in Japan. The involvement of overseas labels and distributors (as licensees or simply as bulk-customers) has a significant financial impact, especially on some of the shorter-run/lower budget projects we plan to release.
