Description: I initially created a corporation to protect myself, because of the nature of what I do in the Performing Arts. I am a Ballroom, Latin, Afro-Caribbean and Belly Dance Instructor and Performer. For many years I have been trying to get a higher income to be able to open a brand new style of a Performing Arts Center with a very unique combination of a "Criollo & Organic Café", plus a Green House to grow some of our own herbs, fruits and vegetables we can use at the Café. Another main goal to achieve in this center is to rescue the amazing music and dance styles of the Bomba, which is the only form of expression from the 1700's and is a direct heritage from the slaves that were living in the island of Puerto Rico back then. This music and improvised dance styles are the best way to improve musicians skills, dancers techniques and ability to improvise at the moment and it opens a whole new way to keep a community together. Of course, in words it is very hard to describe, but I have videos and information if requested. I also wants to include people with vision impairments to be able to feel more freedom through the arts and have an especially designed Ballroom Studio inside one of the rooms from the building, only for this population, so they can enjoy and practice any type of dance they want to learn in my center. I am looking for an investor who can believe in me to Direct this great and one of a kind Performing Arts Center & Café. Some of the classes included are Ballroom Dances, Latin Dances, Bomba and Belly Dance. We also want to teach Bomba Percussion and Bomba Singing as part of the music program. If possible we would like to include a recording studio section, a theater with a capacity for at least 200 people, the very unique Café and the Green House (as I mentioned above).
