We have started a social networking site that has a contest aspect built in. We are not trying to compete with Facebook or Myspace but rather offer an entirely different platform. Heymood will have multiple contests running. Users from around the world will be able to log in and vote for the contestant they want to win. Each user will be given a certain number of votes daily to cast for their favorite contestant. This will make users return everyday to vote thus creating a perfect advertising platform. The social networking side will help us to target the ads based on the descriptions of the users. We will be able to attract smaller businesses with more directed ads targeted to their specific target audience in a particular geographic region.
