RockStar Entertainment and Management is a full service artist management company. With a small but very selective roster, we aim to provide resources for ancillary income streams for our artists such as music placement in Film/TV/Advertising, non-conventional publishing deals, assistance for our smaller indie bands to get to large label representation, booking for corporate and live events, limited tour support and help with contract negotiation. I also happen to be the former executive chef for a few high profile clients, most recently having worked for Prince. Which leads me to why I am here...
With less than 3 weeks to start a restaurant in Las Vegas -- I was charged with opening one in association with Prince, the musical Icon. We opened 3121 Las Vegas in Nov. of 2007 to great fanfare and reviews. While he performed his high energy shows at the Rio Hotel, I developed and implemented a full service 200 seat high-end Global Menu driven eatery in record time. Although opened for a limited engagement -- for all intents and purposes, we were "profitable" within the first 5 months -- Had we had the opportunity to stay open, we would've made a respectable ROI in the first year of business. I wish to do a similar concept in California or other metropolitan city with a happening music scene. where the food and wine is at the core of the business rather than a "concept" driven eatery. With my background in music, production and management, I feel I have all the necessary tools to not only recreate a great food establishment but also have the resources to attract great musical acts to come and perform. I believe that music and food are from the heart and soul -- either you're a gifted chef and naturally musically or your not. Having a great palate is instinctual as in having great ears or rhythm.
