Description:
I have a slave robot that must first be trained to perform a
task using either a webpage or joystick positioning to turn
two driver motors on and off to position slave wher work is to be performed. the slave is four wheeled 2 rear driver wheels and 2 front wheels for steering. The steering will be set by stepper motor commands to turn wheels . The slave will initialy be visible to a human trainer and he will issue verbal commands tht will be recorded and filed in a database of commands. there will be a set of commands developed for the prototype and will be easily expanded by the trainer/controller. The initial set of commands will be forward, reverse, sharp left & right turns, a set speeds using psw control for the two dc motors and digital number commands for steering. Th robot will have 2 fore arms 2 upper arms 2 wrists and a vacuum attached to the wrists
A database of commands will be developed by the trainer for the prototype. The slave will be trained to restock inventory from the receiving dock to the store shelves.
Ability to read text and bar codes will be part of the slaves software. The ability to establish present location using either ultrasonic or radar as appropriate for the environment. The timeordered trainer commands to position the slave and to position the arms and wrists which use soherical command acutators and computer controlled vacuums
terminating each arm powerful enough to grasp and hold while being moved from point a and point b in the house or in the factory or store. A large database called where-is-it will be
developed while the slave is being trained to put things away.
