This is a mother/daughter business, both of us are professional interior designers. Our first product is the Elaine Ryan® Home Decorating Kit ((URL removed)), based on Elaine's book, Color Your Life (St. Martin's Press 2008), and the Elaine Ryan® Color Bars, her color-matching system for correctly coordinating colors in home and offices (fashion, too!). The kit continues where the book left off.
Contained in a beautiful box, the kit is a revolutionary do-it-yourself product for anyone who desires a beautiful home - but without the expense of hiring a professional interior designer. Inside the kit is everything needed to become your own home decorator.
The kit is unlike anything on the market and is the first of its kind. That's the good news and the bad news. We used to be a Home Depot vendor, and thankfully I was able to exit, because they're not our customer. I created the kit with Lowe's in mind.
It's always been our intention to build the brand and then create other Elaine Ryan® products, such as other kits; soft goods, such as decorative pillows/sheet sets/towels; lighting, furniture, and even decorating kits for kids. I've always said, "Move over Martha. There's a new girl in town and her name is Elaine Ryan!"
