Description: This is an independent insurance agency selling homeowners, auto, boats, all personal lines and commercial lines insurance such as office buildings, general and professional liability, life health and various annuities will be incorporated within a month. I do have a Virtual office because I am the only producing agent and can do the work from home. However my idea is to do what many agencies fail to do. I am looking to hire licensed agents as independent contractors which would be getting a commission slip and profit sharing at the end of the year depending on performance. The virtual office would accomodate all of them as well as my self meaning, mail, payments, applications would all go there, meetings with clients would be set up there and agents can use an office as needed in this facility. Their main goal would be to sell, ofcourse the more they sell the more money we all make. Thinking of starting with 5 good agents while I service and maintain their accounts until i can affor an employee to do so and focus myself on marketing and growth, usually each agent should be able to write each anywhere from 5-10 policies a week each policy can average from 500-7000 and the agency gets an average of 10% from the insurance companies. So this has a whole lot of potential and will work but I do need the cash flow to help with Marketing, Lead purchase, Equipments, agency management system that we would all use, a Better website to increase productivity, Business affiliations to guarantee the company's success etc... $10,000 at this stage can help quite a bit since I have been doing all this out of pocket but this eventually will require much more with the volume of expected sales and as I get more agents on board.
