The Nutrition Mom and owner of VersaMeal is Laura Halfpenny, mother of five and dedicated to raising healthy kids. Back in 2003 Laura, as a mom, was challenged by the plethora of junk foods in our society and the lack of healthy foods that tasted good to kids. That’s when she began to research healthy whole grain foods and developing her own nutritious and versatile whole grain mix that kids would enjoy. Additionally she wanted a product that could be used with milk or juice in order to help those who are lactose intolerant and to provide a variety of flavor tastes.
