Description: I am looking for funding to reopen an early childhood development center providing childcare services for infants to school age, ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Would also offer pre-kindergarten curriculum for 3 and 4-year olds. Tutoring and homework assistance for afterschool. Would like to offer GED and literacy programs to parents. Operated a center from 2003 to 2007 with my own funding. Closed due to conditions of the building and the poor visibility of the location (Loudon Ave.) and lack of funding for a downpayment on another building that became available quickly. Still have all of my equipment. Have trained staff willing to work as soon as in operation and parent inquiries about when will the center reopen.
