Description: I have the Creation/Idea to open a community based child care center. The center would operate as a traditional center, with the exception that the parents would volunteer a set number of hours per week to keep their rates for care at a price they can afford. The center would not accept the traditional childcare subsidies. The goal is to keep parents involved in the growth of their children, keep them involved in the community and enable them to afford quality childcare at the same time. Parents could work full time without having to pay more than half of their income to ensure that their child has quality childcare.
