Description:
Dudley Financial Services, LLC (DFS) would like to request $1,350,000 that will support and contribute to the successful launch of this new endeavor during the early stage of the company. DFS is a young enthusiastic company that will provide a high-level of expertise on business acquisition process to prospective buyer(s) and sellers among small to medium size businesses.
The mission of the organization is:
• Dudley Financial Services, LLC will be to generate a profit, growing at a challenging and manageable rate, and adhere to the ethical codes set forth by the VR Business Brokers.
• Recruit esteemed business acquisition intermediaries.
• Achieve responsiveness networking and uphold a high quality of customer service.
• Maintain partnerships with clients and other business intermediaries who respect the interests and goals of each party.
• Ensuring that DFS remains lucrative in today’s fast-paced world of acquisitions.
Objective
DFS’ objective would be to address the need of intermediaries among small business owners and prospective buyers; measuring the need of business intermediaries and brokers in the industry.
Scope of Services
The services will consist of assisting with all phases of the acquisition transactions process for small business owners and prospective buyers; which would also include providing relocation assistance for the new owner. This assistance includes contacting various realtors near the desired location of the business. However, the individual would need to reside outside the state in which the business is located.
Investment Highlights
M & A transactions among small to medium size businesses are virtually untapped; due to the large number of businesses that are not being serviced. There are about 17,000 businesses with revenue of $300,000 to 4,000,000 that are struggling with the purchasing a business/business acquisition process. The reason for the struggle is because M & A companies are servicing larger companies for larger profits. Within the last three years, each year there have been about 36,000 businesses up for sale. Of those 36,000 establishments, medium size businesses make up six percent of the acquisition industry and small businesses make up nearly one percent. With that said, there are more business brokers/intermediaries, business appraisers and so forth that are starting to focus on medium to large size businesses. Therefore, DFS strongly believes that focusing on the small-medium sized businesses will be deemed as a successful entry point for the company; due to the lack of interest among large companies unwilling to assist small business owner(s) during this delicate process.
Roles of Responsibilities
To uphold integrity, it is imperative that there is quality assistance provided to each party to ensure that all transactions are processed accordingly. DFS needs monetary assistance during the introductory stage; this support would cover administrative costs, operational expenses, leasing small office space, franchise fees, salary requirements, working capital, training/certification with American Business Brokers Association (ABBA) and other business related costs. My role as the president of DFS during the introductory stage is to ensure that the business functions seamlessly. Afterwards, additional intermediaries and two administrative personnel would be hired and trained at DFS and VR Business Brokers Headquarter in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
In closing, we would like to thank you in advance for reviewing the proposal and if there are questions, please feel free to contact LaTonya T. Dudley at (Phone # removed). I look forward to hearing from you.
