At the age of 5, my younger sister developed alopecia, and lost all of her hair. Up until her adult years, she still relies on wigs to look and feel beautiful. As a teen, I made most of her wigs and with experience, my wigs have attracted many others who rely on wigs and those who love the convenience of having them while nurturing their natural hair. Since then, I’ve been encouraged to start a lace unit business to provide options for those who want a certain look but unable to achieve due to severe alopecia and hair loss. The name of my company is Her Glam House. I named my company this because I wanted every woman to feel welcomed and at home when wearing my units. In my house everyone is welcome to feel beautiful, the way they should. I am hoping to get funding to build my business to reach women all over who needs my products and hopefully open a shop so that women can feel confident knowing there’s a place just for them.
