We are starting a small "Mom and Pop" diner in a rural area of Alabama. The potential for success is high for several reasons. We plan to offer a full line of "from scratch" meals including a cafe line with fresh meats and vegetables, fresh baked deserts and breads. Additionally, we will offer a full line of short order items. All items will be prepared with the freshest ingredients available.
Other establishments in the area are deficient for many reasons. Slow service(local workers can not eat in the required 30 minutes), inconsistent food quality, limited menu selections, high employee turnover, over pricing for the area, etc. There is no cafe steam table available in the general area.
Our approach is quite different for the area but has proven to be a success in a near by
