My Name is Larry D. Lewis. I and my wife Vilma A. Lewis have been taking care of the senior population since 2006. We are looking to expand our business and establish long term stability. We are lic for 6 residents at each of the 2 Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) we own. It has been very difficult to get bank financing. However, we have increased the income of the company over the last three years. Mainly due to better management of the company costs and better services we provide to our residents.
We are blessed to have a reputation for providing good care. At this time we have 5 employees not including myself and Vilma. We have a desire to help provide good paying jobs for more employees. The purpose of this letter is to convince you to invest with our company. Our goal long term is to provide small ALFs through out the country and maybe around the globe.
I realized the larger ALFs have dominated the market and industry for sometime. However, there is no company anywhere in the US providing small ALF services on a country wide basis. The #1 reason why the smaller facilities will be successful is the personal attention that many seniors crave from their providers and caretakers. Through out the US there are many seniors who have a need for this one on one personal attention.
We are attempting to get enough money to purchase or lease three or more homes or buildings to open more 3 ALFs. We also would like to open ALFs w/ ECC(Extra Congregate Care) attachments. In the State of Florida there is a need among state agencies to place senior adults in smaller facilities. This placement can only take place with ALFs which have the attachments to its Lics.
The other ALF niches I will pursue is to have larger facilities (20 beds) focus on Dementia illnesses, and continue with small private payers ALFs .
