When I retired from the Army a few years ago, my young children talked me into opening a small business from my garage at home. I produce photo gifts (t-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, photo cards, posters and about 12 other photo transfer products). Along the way I expanded to include plush animals and balloons. I recently expanded by selling custom invitations and accessories. Without advertising, just word of mouth, this small garage business is starting to take off very nicely.
