Description: Arcade Brewery is a Chicago-based craft brewery dedicated to creating delicious craft beer with the help of our customers. We love beer, nerd culture, and community. With our Public Brew series, we ask our community to come up with the beer name, label artwork, and even suggest attributes of the final beer. We are also collaborating with amazing comic book artists and writers to bring label and packaging design to a whole new level of awesomeness. We are currently working with the talented Tony Moore (The Walking Dead), Eisner-nominated writer Jason Aaron (Scalped, Wolverine, PunisherMAX), and graphic artists SEIBEI and Matthew Skiff. Our Team: Lance Curran is the warehouse director and creator/curator of Comics-On Tees for (URL removed), the community-centered online apparel store of Chicago, IL. Lance's connection to social crowd-sourcing markets and ties to the comic book industry and artists are an invaluable resource to Arcade. Under his seven years of guidance, Threadless has displayed unprecedented efficiency within their warehouse facility shipping millions of shirts around the world and creating an inspiring workplace. Lance has also been featured in many articles about Threadless and is a public speaker on their behalf. Lance was an advisor and speaker for the 2011 National Conference of Operations and Fulfillment. Chris Tourre's experience comes from his involvement in the art world and as an advid homebrewer. Focused mainly on creating community-based art projects throughout Chicago (including various galleries and the Museum of Contemporary Art), Chris shifted his artistic focus to brewing in 2010. Running homebrewing workshops out of his house and gallery spaces, Chris created "Public Brewery", an experimental DIY brewery operated out of the art space Spoke in Chicago's West Loop gallery district. The project allowed the public to suggest beer ideas, donate ingredients to beer ideas, and participate in the brewing process. Chris' project and vision is considered the template for which the rest of Arcade Brewery was developed. Chris graduated from the Seibel Institute of Technology in November of 2012 with a certificate in Brewing Technology. PJ McNulty has over a decade of experience in the craft beer industry. He started at the ground up cleaning and filling kegs of beer, one at a time, at the Goose Island Beer Company. PJ went on to become the youngest commercial assistant brewer in the country, assisting in the day-to-day operations at Goose Island’s Brewpub in Wrigleyville. After graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago, PJ continued to work his way up at Goose Island into the Sales and Marketing department, where he managed some of the top beer accounts in the city of Chicago. PJ currently maintains these relationships and his rapport with key industry leaders in the Chicagoland area. Arcade (URL removed)m Conception, To Consumption™
