Description: Parents Students Teachers Connect Phase 1 (Kick Starter). We aim to publish a revolutionary periodical in which we plan to initially distribute in the NW Missouri area including St. Joseph, MO and Kansas City, MO/(URL removed)s will be informational on leading educational topics and provide the statistics behind them. A link to Phase II will be within the periodical. Phase II (Website) We aim to create a website where Parents, Students, and Teachers connect. The purpose of the website will be as follows: 1. A single location where educational issues can be heard and discussed. 2. We would be taking action on the educational issues discussed such as sending letters to local, state, and national government. Doing whatever it takes to get a response and keeping you informed along the way. 3. We would use the website as a fundraising tool for our #1 goal, see Phase III. Phase III (Raising funds to provide schools with Guards) Our #1 goal would be to raise funds to provide every willing public school with a guard. Utilizing the website we would collect funds regarding the schools in general or for a school specific to your interest. Unlike other organizations we would provide accountability for every dollar donated and make this accessible to you on the website. We would also like to tackle our nations unemployment rate by hiring unemployed officers or veterans. Every guard will pass strict background checks. We will make it our personal responsibility to maintain daily contact with the schools principal to ensure the school is satisfied with the service. After the Newtown, CT tragedy my friend Brandon and I decided something needed to be done. We feel it is not the governments place to take on the task of providing guards as this would make the deficit double what it already is. We feel it is not the schools responsibility as the schools should be focused on providing the highest quality education and hiring teachers with their funds. Americans send billions overseas every year for causes that have nothing to do with our own issues we have here at home. Why not focus on fundraising for an important topic such as keeping our nations educators and students safe?
