Description: Business Concept- Our app provides restaurants with location based marketing incentives, data collection/analysis, and a loyalty program to increase foot-traffic on demand and gather relevant data. Although the HungerPerks app is currently in development, HungerPerks LLC has filed a provisional patent on the business method of trading free merchandise for survey feedback using geo-fence technology. Currently patent pending. Other IP owned by HungerPerks includes trademarks on "HungerPerks" and "Food for Thoughts." The company currently employs 3 full time founders and is a proud client of the Bit Factory, which also became HungerPerk's first investor of $25,000. The majority of that investment (and any additional) will go toward the developing expense of the applications. The more investment, the more developers we can hire, the faster the app will be developed and the better it will be. HungerPerks' original founder, Kyle Flynn, has previous entrepreneurial experience co-founding (and then successfully exiting) another communications app called Asker. Kyle is an experienced designer and has expertise in the areas of graphic design, web-deisng, user interface/experience, marketing, and sales. Julia Mallinak has her BBA in marketing, sales, and advertisement, and has interned at the J.M. Smucker Company. She also competed for the University of Akron on the national level, and represented HungerPerks at LaunchTown 2017, were the company placed 3rd overall. Julia actually canceled her international internship in Italy and passed up several job offers to devote her full attention to working on HungerPerks. Sam Borick will graduate with his BS in computer science in the Spring of 2018. Sam has extensive developing experience that he has acquired working for several software companies including Hyland Software. Sam actually turned down a full-time position with Hyland to devote his full attention to working on HungerPerks. Other key members of the HungerPerks business team include Jack and James Hilton and Stephen Benny. Jack and James are HungerPerks mentors at the Bit Factory and have extensive experience in entrepreneurship, both owning several businesses of their own and mentoring many other small businesses. Stephen Benny is the former marketing manager for Uber, a current mentor, and a promising investor.
