I would like to buy and operate a hotel on the Kenyan coast near the city of Mombasa. Does anyone know where I can turn to find investors that would be interested in funding my project, either as a partner or by providing a loan?
I would like to invest in a well maintained hotel and develop it in to a fashionable hotel with restaurants with high quality food. I need an investor for funding the purchase of the hotel.
Although I am not a Kenyan citizen I have good knowledge about the country and also a good network.
There are some interesting prospects available right now. The amount needed for purchasing one of these prospects is approximately 5.5 - 8.5 million Euro (~4 - 6 million Euro).
I believe that the time for investing is right as the economical downturn is likely to have reached its bottom and the prices would be the most beneficial. Also, with many other countries are well developed tourist destinations, the next region to be further developed for tourism would be the continent of Africa. In Kenya you have the possibility of combining safari with a relaxing trip to the beautiful beaches at the Kenyan coast, where there are possibilities for fishing, snorkeling, diving, swimming or just walking the beautiful beaches.
