Maggio Multicultural Academy is an elementary school I started in the Dominican Republic almost 3 years ago. It is the product of many hours of hard work, determination, dedication, and… many people telling me that I was crazy allowing me to prove them wrong! As a result of my relentless effort, the school has had incredible success, growing at a very fast rate. Currently Maggio Multicultural Academy is a bi-lingual elementary school of educational excellence, with a current enrollment of 85 students from Preschool through 3rd grade. At the moment, the school is located in a rented facility. Unfortunately, due to the inability for the current location to accommodate the actual demand, the number of enrollments and the revenue generated would be much higher. Therefore, it is necessary to create a new facility so that the school can expand and grow to its full potential. The school has proven to provide an educational service that parents need and want their child to have. There is a current wait list which grows every day. There is also an adult market that the school has not yet been able to accommodate, due to the lack of space, which forces the school to turn potential clients away or provide only a few individual classes. Therefore, the need to expand from the current location of Maggio Multicultural Academy is very important, because its actual growth is being limited.
