Description:
My partner and I have worked in the Medical industry for a 15+ years. I have a degree in biology & premedicine and worked in medical & surgical sales. My partner has been the purchasing agent for a surgical equipment & supply company with a degree in finance and business. We have spent approx one year securing relationships with customers and manufacturers so to branch off and start our own company supplying products necessary to hospitals and vets. We have information on quantities and items purchased from hospitals nationwide. We are not asking them to change product, just purchase from us at a 40%-60% savings. Hospitals are in desperate need of savings and are exploring all options. They must save money without compromising quality of patient care. The items we will supply do not come in contact with the patient, therefore we will not need to be classified by the FDA and approved. Also, the items we will carry are not included in the purchasing contract agreements hospitals are bound by. Meaning, there are outside purchasing companies that contract with hospitals to find the best price on certain items for the hospital. The hospital is then bound by contract that they will not bring in the items listed on the contract through anyone but the purchasing company. As i said, the items we are carrying are NOT part of the purchasing agreement. We have a list of contacts for each hospital, what they purchase, how much they purchased and what their pricing was a of 6 months ago. This is highly confidential information and of great value. We have established a working relationship with our manufacturer and will be working on a gross profit margin of 77%-92%. We are not intending on undercutting the competition to the point that we create a false sense of quality product, just undercut enough that we combat competition pricing, rebates, discounts, etc.. Hospitals we have spoken with to date are extremely interested in doing business immediately. Hospitals work on terms, they are not cash paying customers. Most hospitals work on a 30 or 60 day term. We will offer discounts if paid sooner, but we are in need of working capital until the company funds itself. I have quit my job to devote 100% to my company. My partner has done the same. We have office staff ready to begin work the minute we gain funding. We are looking for a minimal investment of $50,000 that will be paid back with interest in 1 yr. I am open to discussion with the right investor.
I can be contacted at [send me a message] for immediate discussion.
Thank you,
Kristen
