The L.O.N.E. S.T.A.R. Gun Resort & Academy (Learning; Operational; Needs for Emergencies, Shooting; Tactical; Academy and Resort) is led by visionary Kobi Vider who has over 32 years of experience in counterterrorism, homeland security, intelligence, training, and covert operations. Our core belief is that proper education and training will change and improve the use of different firearms with increased safety. We envision achieving this by enabling the shooting and gun-owning community access to a state-of –the-art facility with cutting-edge technology. Our practice academy and resort will serve equally all groups from family members engaging in non-harmful combat fun, to sport shooters, to law enforcement and first responders.
The company’s focus is based on selected subject expert matters from the arenas of shooting sports, hunting, self-defense, law enforcement, military operations, intelligence and counter terrorism. It is built on over an accumulated 175 years of academic, training, real life operations and scenarios, and past events. Our aim is to promote, educate, coach, mentor and practice the safe use of firearms in near real-life scenarios.
The world we live in and our close in-state and out-of-state environment is dynamically changing and impacting our neighborhoods and homes, as well as our state and nation’s safety and security. Whether the threat is real or perceived, it is being mistakenly analyzed by millions of people that can easily purchase a weapon. This has the probability to lead these people to owning sets of gear and equipment that are not appropriate for their intended use. The result is that while people buy and own firearms and other defense means, in most cases, they lack proper training for the situational use of it.
The concept of an integrated academy came about after intensive market research and analysis. Our study revealed that while our ‘selected interview users’ are excited about our concepts and ideas, we were not able to find even one facility (out of the 400 locations we studied in the United States) that actually contains all of the services and offerings at the level we plan in one site. We are reaching out to those who we believe share our vision and are interested in investing in helping us turn this vision into a reality before only terrorists and criminals own and know how to properly operate weapons available today.
