I. Current Status & Accomplishments
OP (Other Pile) Productions is a new production company, which is being
formed for the specific purpose of producing two feature films. All of their
personnel have previously worked as Route 40 Films, which is currently
completing a successful trio of feature films.
* OP Productions is being formed solely as a separate financial entity, and does
not represent any change in personnel (from Route 40 Films).
Route 40 Films is a Film Production Company formed in 2010. They have
produced two feature films within the first seven months of their formation,
and by Octorber 2011, they will have produced three feature films within their
first year of operation.
They recently completed principal photography on their second feature,
“Doughboy.” The film was shot in Wheeling, West Virginia. The film will
receive a theatrical release on August 19th, 2011, through Marquee Cinemas,
and it is expected that the film will spread to a wider release after this initial
independent release. Expectations are running quite high for “Doughboy,”
because of its universally appealing content. The film received a “5 Dove”
rating from the Renowned Dove Foundation, which is their highest honor.
